Scott Montana

Fairly low end Scott frame as far as I can recall, though they had various versions/specs like comp, pro etc. Thats the extent of my knowledge I'm afraid.

Pretty sure there's a Scott catalogue on file in the archive?

It's a '92, and the chrome fork isn't the original. Pic of mine in the 'Show us your Scott' thread 8)

FWIW I really liked mine, and if this had been the anthracite frame I would have snapped it up myself...

i found a catalogue but its in german lol :(
im repainting it to the black one as pink on a bike isnt really my thing

This is the one you want, page 12...

...mine was the grey and red frame, yours is the inset orange and pink.

Shimano 500LX components, so more or less the equivalent of an Alpinestars cro-mega LX...

...BITD I had both, and preferred the Scott 8)

Cool link to the '92 catalogue, I was searching for one of those. And being Austrian, I don't mind its german :P if you need a translation, just let me know

grey ?! oops i thought it was black and orange  lucky i didnt order paint yet

It's 'Anthracite' - in other words, dark metallic grey - with red, white & grey details and red fork. Mine had Suntour branded self-energising canti's...

...as I said; I preferred the Scott to the A'stars way-back-when, selling the cro-mega to a collegue at work. The Scott was stolen whilst my brother was borrowing it and I've been after another like it for yonks
