picking this up tonight can anyone tell me the year it was manufactured or how will I know when I get it cheers

Just typical Scott catalogs from that time show only the aluminum Super Evolution models (green-blue-white or red-grey/brown-white), while the black-red-white one is CroMo.

Well I have it in my possession and it looks ok to me (happy)
