It’s pretty much a one off chance to buy into the beginnings of the sport. You certainly couldn’t buy the individual parts for the BIN price. It takes a mighty effort to build one of these and find all the parts in the UK, most of which have been imported.

I was amazed it went for that I thought it'd be £1400. Crazy bargain. Such a beautiful bike.

Yeah me too, solely because I thought it would be £1400. I've since bought the same frame with same horn decals but red and cream 1952, original, great patina, gold Ukai rims etc on their way from G'O USA so will post it on here when done. Obstruch's build inspired me.
