Nah, Papadirt is good as gold, in fact he encouraged me to bring the little Dirt Research back from the States (don't think he'll forgive me if I put a wheel in those lovely dropouts though - thinks it should go on the wall instead :lol: ).

Sweet ! although i have to admit it would be a shame to get any marks on that lovely paint work but you'll have to tell him from me ! that it is against MTB religion not to fit it with parts and enjoy it out on the trails ;) .

;) , yep! helitape is used by a fair few modern mtb riders these days and the last time i checked it was about £8 on ebay but i don't know of any one using it on the drop outs but it can't hurt to try it out ..
