Oh no - you've got me started. Danish store-bought sausages are absolutely dire and I am in a perpetual state of sausage-lamentation.
My parents brought me some venison and cranberry sausages from their local game shop last-but-one time they were over. I think they are probably the best I've ever had.
But charcoal-grilled French Merguez are also pretty awesome and you can't beat a good French chipolata.
My wife's aunt makes a really tasty sausage at Christmas that is full of pepper and spices that also hits the spot.
But a good butcher shop Cumberland sausage is hard to beat. Just been so long since I've had one......
