Harmon kardon gps 500 pricey a couple of years ago but now reasonable 4 inch screen and media player as well, nice quality and does the job.

I have one of these too and although it's quite a nice device (the screen and media player functions are pretty decent) there's a real problem in that there are no updates (as far as I can see) for the mapping and it's now getting a bit out of date. :(

fair few people I know love the NavMan ones as well.

We use an old NavMan Pin (maybe 6 or 7 years old now) and it does well.. software is well out of date now (and there's no free upgrades)..

Tom Tom one xl for me, i use it 10 hours a day doing multi drop deliveries, 99% of the time it has put me right, wouldn't be without it now 8)

Another handy thing to have is google maps on your phone and use the street view part of it. I was looking for Jewson in Burnley the other day and when i sat nav'd it the street looked a tad small to get the truck down, A quick look on street view and i could see the road was fine and jewsons had a one system so i could get in and out hassle free.

I keep getting lost.
