interesting spot, nothing certain to contribute other than mixed 6spd / deore & xt is equivalent to my (1st ever mtb) 1988 Saracen Trekker.
My knowlede of Saracen bike prior to this year us limited, but suspect maybe ealier model year 1987-88 , LTD edition using up parts / frames?
Over to Saracen gurus!

SE mix and match sounds plausible. I'm sure there is a Saracen expert to fill in the blanks. Too big for me though.
