My original spec Saracen has finally been given a lesser role for 2021 with Father Christmas bringing me a new Trek road bike. However the wife wanted a bike & turbo trainer to use. The latter bing stipulated to be quite as it would be in the house.
On this basis I bought her a 4iiii smart trainer on which the Saracen could be put to use.
However, the original bontrager Weismann rims have pinned joints (steel pins) and this doesn’t work with the trainer.
I therefore need a wheelset with alloy/ alumimium rim with a joint that does not have steel pins- welded I presume, with a hub and suitable 7sp cassette for the original Shimano Altus A10 derailleur gears.
Any suggestions on what to and where to get.
