Saracen ProTrax 1995

There's been a bit of love for the midrange Saracen models on here recently so I thought I'd chip in with this ProTrax I built up for the missus yesterday



I bought it as a frameset recently and was so impressed with the colour lustre and the state of the stickers I decided to treat it to a Deore LX groupset that I nicked off my Univega and some good wheels and fresh new tyres

It's a great little bike, proud to have it in the collection and the missus is well chuffed with it... Now all we need is a nice dry day!

Being 6'2 myself, I ride the larger frames and I just live the way a smaller bike like this looks, more in proportion and stealthy looking



The top tube looks fairly sloping on this, a 1995, does anyone know if they updated the geo from the earlier models?



I plan to swap out the bars and seatpost for some black ones to match the groupset.

I think its a gorgeous looking bike

The paint on this looks fantastic and I trust your missus is chuffed. (I won't let mine see this: it might create expectations. ) Saracen had some great colours and better paint/powdercoat than many other brands. Looks like you've made a cool bike out of this. Good work!
