I think it's a Rufftrax- I have one the same for my son, except that the gruesome SIS rear derailleur has bee upgraded to a 200GS one.

ebay one has pannier mounts on the seatstays but your sons doesn't?

I'm not sure that the other one does, as when you look at the picture at 400% there seems to be a dark band around the seatstay, that might be a clamp arrangement.

Also it looks like a wheelnut on the back, where a noble Tufftrax would surely have a QR.

Maybe we should ask the seller!
