Yeah i know there's a yellow variant made (i bought one nos for me oppo-devoid of laquer) the wishbone alignment/relationship with the top bar and the stylised cable guides are consistant with all known variants/colours/metals seen in the flesh or papertrails.....except Deadrats version.

I think when Saracen met their demise many frames were sold off, some powder coated some not..

Yeah (powder coating) but that would'nt have a part in Saracen purposefully aligning the framework differently or useing different cable guides.

like I said some of the 97 bikes seem to use different cable guides, just like the old head tube sticker.. They changed cable guides halfway through the 92 estay year so it wouldn't surprise me if they did in fact bring in the newer cable guides halfway through the 97 season hence yellow ones being seen fitting this description

I can't explain the alignment issues any more than I can explain why some frames had a beefier wishbone like mine and the 99 kili green kili comp depicted in the brochure page linked to earlier on in the thread. As I mentioned previously i don't get the impression that Saracen were ever quite comfortable with the wishbone design so like they have proved before this they would play with the design slightly. Remembering that they were making this frame design in both reynolds and tange, reynolds being new back then and difficult to work with. Not forgetting the Alu and ti versions.

That's where i get confused Dendi...when you say yellow ones being seen with differing style guides...i've only ever seen Deadrats example threw up and thats got the alignment thing in tow which may suggest a different model (no info to tube types). When i say wishbone alignment i was not refering to the bulge seen in some examples but specifically to Deadrats example that shows (maybe not on the remaining pic) the wishbone meeting the top bar/seatpost junction much more plum-opposed to all other variants which show the wishbone meeting the seatpost clearly below the top bar line. Are there any other yellow examples which are recognisably Kili Team with non hooded guides? Cause if they aint...it does look like the new alignment and the new guides go together...what someone would call it though is there business (till a trail is found  ).

yeah i know what you mean - it joins inline with top tube.. I can't explain but i think if you look closer in the magazine review, the kili comp in question has these guides (I think) :? Dead rats is also reynolds 853 so the same.

Yeah but that would mean 3 variants cause the example in the link is with the lowered wishbone. I get the impression there's one lot and some have a bulge revision and Deadrats lot..though i'd love to stand corrected if someone can blow up the pic in the link to show the guide type..which will only make matters worse cause the yellow nos 853 lot bought for me oppo is from '99 and is fitted with hooded guides.

sorry, late joining the discussion - can you guys confirm exactly what you'd like photographing and I will oblige :D I do have one photo of mine before I stripped the decals too, been meaning to get a respray but I can't face stripping mine down ... told it's a 97 and it's def 853 tubing
