Saracen Hardtrax

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this bike, like the year and if its any good. I pulled it out of a skip the other week and had a new back wheel put in it and some tires, it weighs 28lbs all up and rides very well.

I have seen lots of Saracens on the forum but not this one I guess its not that early or was a low level entry model.

hi you're right its from lower down the saracen range. i'd say its prob 1996 or 1997 going by the decals. looks in great condition.

Thanks for that, I guessed it was lower down the range. Its not in bad condition no bad scrapes only a little wear on the top tube on the made in Britain sticker and one of the letters is missing from hardtrax on the other side.

Nice find, why has everyone got such good skips round them, just brick rubble and bathroom suites round here. :cry:
