Sandy Gilchrist Team carbon kevlar frame

Asked about its history:

thanks for your interest! Sandy received this bike from an importer late 80's early 90's when he started racing mountain biking. He thinks it may be a pro-type but he is not sure. He did win races on the bike

I assume pro-type means prototype.. Cant find any pics of it anywhere.
A nice frame, reckon it'd retire well into a commuter dutied bike, although i'd doubt it will take much abuse if its late 80's carbon!

i have a llyang carbon mtb which looks exactly the same as that :? and i'm only 9 miles away from sandys shop
