well, i think it's finally done now!!

found these tyres new on the bay, tubeless, and discounted to only £7.99 each!!

it was either gonna look awful or great, but i reckon they work a treat!!

amazing!
I prefer this rigid 1x11 configuration... it looks so damn race and so fast...
only the wheels are not in my opinion at the level of the rest of components... i've prefered a pair of hope, CK, or anything else pair of hubs, laced with 32 spokes on a pair of more "classic" black rims...

okay, so a very small update in the pedal department.....

bought a pair of used Speedplay Frog Titanium pedals, on eBay for a bargain price, and a new bearing kit at the same time. a wee half hour in the shed tonight and they're all cleaned up with new bearings installed.

a quick check on the scales shows a not insignificant weight saving between them and my XTR 959's :xmas-cool:
