These wheels are off a Peugeot 'Comp' hybrid from @1997
They are in time warp condition and the internal bearings (loose) are really excellent.
A little tarnished, but polished up beautifully. The polishing removed the front decal in no time, so I've taken a picture of the rear before it goes.
All the period Sachs I've seen have red logos.
It looks like Z1 is written on the decal, but I'm struggling to find any info on that.
The end caps (not pictured) are plastic.
I think these came out after another German company bought Sachs and attempted to improve quality after the cheaper Sachs-Hurret components were getting completely ignored by more demanding riders.
SRAM bought them out again and I think that was the end of the Sachs moniker being used on bicycle components.
They are plain looking, but definitely worth having a look at while prices are so low.
