Since I originally started this thread, I have got the bike out to take photos, and have found a dent on the down tube of the frame (which is pictured below). Therefore my original description AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, PRICE, have been amended to reflect this. I have now also added a set of lovely S Works Strongarm 2 Cranks to the bundle
2000 Specialized S Works FSR Frame, Medium or Large (please see below)
M4 Metal Matrix Tubing
Anodised Black with Red Decals (very swish!)
Fox Float RC Rear Shock (3" Travel, Rebound and Compression Adjustment)
I'm not sure whether the frame is a medium or a large. I'm 5'10" and it fits me perfectly with room for someone shorter or taller. The seat tube measures 20" (centre of bottom bracket to top of seat clamp). Top tube measures about 21.65" horizontally from centre of head tube to centre of seat tube. These measurements are approximate as, sadly, I only had a ruler to measure it!
Frame is in excellent condition overall as the pictures show. However, as I have now mentioned above, there is a dent on the downtube which i was not aware of at the time I originally started this thread.
All bearings and pivots are smooth and play-free. The frame has had the decals replaced at some point, but the paint is original, and the original S Works decal underneath the downtube still remains
Comes with the following (now also includes the original spec S Works Crankset):
FSA Headset
Shimano XT E-Type Front Mech
Bottom Bracket
S WORKS CRANKSET
Thomson Elite Seatpost (30.9)
Saddle
Seat Clamp
Note - only what is listed above is included.
WAS £225.00 posted (before I found the dent)
Dropped to £150.00 posted, including S Works Cranks
NOW £110.00 posted
SOLD
ONE HUNDRED AND TEN POUNDS FOR A SPECIALIZED S WORKS FSR FRAME KIT. BONKERS!. Needless to say, I won't be taking offers.
Price includes postage to anywhere in the UK.
I will post elsewhere, but postage will be extra.
So, basically, I've now knocked off £115 on account of the dent, AND I've added a set of cranks which I was going to sell for around the £50-60 mark, so it's still a bargain!
Thanks for looking
