S-Works M2 - restore, sell or skip?

Just for reference Pace are alive and well, all rumours of their demise are entirely false.

www.pacecycles.com

They do sell RC35 elastomers still, however have a word with Tim, Justbackdated first.

As others have said, get Tim to sort your RC35's. He got an old set of mine looking like new (new elastomers, new decals, new seals, full service) for around £100. He used to work for Pace so knows his stuff better then anyone.

If the paint's in good nick but the decals are snotty get Gil-M to sort you a new set. While waiting for the new stickers, strip the old ones off and polish the frame.

Any other parts that are past their best can be replaced from the for sale section on here.

Look forward to seeing it and welcome. 8)

Many thanks for your responses. I've decided it's clearly worth keeping my 20-year-old M2 S-Works and will now go down the route of restoring it all to its former glory. Sadly, I won't be taking it off-road that much - I'm 50 now, with knees aged 80 (I blame the SPDs!) - but a quick once-round-the-block yesterday confirmed what a beautiful ride it still is.

I'll be using all the contacts you've kindly given me, too - so thanks very much indeed to everyone. I'll do some before and after images, too...
