Hi all,
Having a wedding and a million other things on the go, including a great new cinder cone project, I have decided to part with my Specialised S Works frame. 1992 model (so I am told), I am selling the following:
Steel Frame, Forks, STX Headset (knackered or in need of TLC at least), Front mech, original specialised stem and handlebar, s works bar ends (near weightless) and saddle. USE seatpost.
Good points: absolutely quality frame. Not weighed but it is really really light. XTR900 (?) parts are great.
Bad points: frame has some rust and scratches. In particular on chainstay and around the bottom bracket. Have not tried to take the bottom bracket off as it is working really well (is a UN91). But it may be stuck given that the stem was stuck when I picked it up. Rust is shown on the pictures. With a frame like this it obviously deserves to be sandblasted and resprayed, something that my budget does not extend to.
Did some crude measurements: Top of bottom bracket to seattube bottom: 18 - downtube 23". Chainstay length is 16" and seatstay 18". I say crude as I am not sure where exactly you are meant to measure them and as the frame and parts are now boxed and ready to go I hope that is ok as it would be quite a pain to get it out and retape it all up!
Really really want this to go to a good home, had one buyer on here who has let me down so someone give this a good home. It is boxed and ready to go, would prefer local pick up from East Devon (Exeter, Taunton, Tiverton area), or as it is in a cycle box and packeed, if you arrange the courier yourself it can go the next day after cleared payment.

Am looking for a quick and hassle free sale so £110 plus postage. Please post on here firsts and PM. Sorry but I do not want to split the parts.
