Was his curiously un-Spanish accent explained in Highlander?

That's my favourite for accents - get a French man to play a scot, and a scot to play a spaniard - brilliant casting.

Got my seat numbers. Block 3 Row A 79 & 80 plus two seats in the disabled seating area immediately infront. Result! Only a year to wait for the big day.

Not for long, his voice is getting weaker in the higher ranges. Most of the songs these days are more in his mid-range. On the last couple of tours they have played some old numbers with down-tuned guitars. It's a shame but he is pushing 60.
