Hmmmm... Anyone know about these - BETD told me I can just hammer the old bearings out, but I have heard that they should be pulled out...

Anyone got any ideas?

I tried all sorts to take out the bearings - there is a flange inside, so you cant just push them through, you will have ot pull them out, i luckily saw some NOS ones being sold on the US ebay, so bought one of those instead.

They do need to be pulled out. Or pushed out from the inside. If you're careful, you can use a pin punch to knock them out from the other side. Be careful to move around the perimeter of the bearing so as to not elongate the hole in the alloy rocker. Once the first one is out, the other side is piss easy! Plenty of room to work. Or you can find a friend with a slide hammer & inside bearing (or crankshaft pilot bearing) puller. The good news is that they are a cheap-as, stock metric bearing size (type 608, 22mm OD, 8mm ID, 7mm wide) Best of luck!

you also might wanna try a bearings company, i emailed a local one to me, and they pointed me in the direction of what i was looking for, but then i found the a replcement one on ebay.

Well the good news is that I took the rocker along to a local precision engineering company, and the chap said " no worries, we can get them out, looks like they need to be pulled out, probably got a shoulder in the middle to seat them' and they'll save me the thrust washers out the middle... Sorted!!!!

Just waiting on the old bombers to be overhauld and everything is nearly ready...
