RST Mozo Pros. Can I easily shorten the travel?

From memory i didn't need circlip pliers. The circlips just had a notch that you flicked out with a thin screwdriver. The polished USA ones i had were 65/85mm i think

I got them apart, using my circlip pliers . Internally they are pretty good, elastomers aren't to bad. I couldn't shuffle the elastomers about to lose travel as the shaft below the circlip is a larger diametre than the plastic clips that join the elastomers together. I've removed one of the softer elastomers which has dropped the travel down to around 60mm which looks perfect, although i'm yet to ride it. I migth try and drill out the elastomer I removed and install it as another bump stop. What do we think?

as they are, they will extend to their full length and top out hard when the front wheel is lifted....
