Retro Newbie
Hi folks, just picked this up today on the cheap and trying to identify roughy the year it could have been made? Can't make out the frame number. Guy told me its late 70s early 80s but he wasn't certain. Thanks

Looks like a couple of ding marks on the seat tube unless it’s the light?

Looks like a Falcon.. Wrapover stays, lugs, forks, pressed ends and lack of braze ons
My thoughts also. Probably a respray fitted with RT transfers. Having a separate rear mech hanger rather than a 'proper' integral hanger is a clue as well.

I can’t ever remember seeing pump pegs on a falcon on the down tube 🤔🤔 one I’ve seen always on the top tube…

Thanks for all the info guys, it seems that this bike is most likely a Falcon based on your replies and some digging I have been doing on the net, I am still no closer to a date for the bike guessing late 70s early 80s. Pretty happy with it for the 50 quid I paid. Thanks again

50 quid top buy :). Worth it for the pump, don't see many of them lol. I had several in the 70's with a Campag push attachment
