Very nice, mid 70's with cable clips for everything, even over the bottom bracket for the cables. Looks a bit thick around the wrap round for an Italian Strada? Not sure why but looks like a Holdsworth Professional decked out with Roy Thame decals. Whatever the make it's classy and its smack in my era

That does look totally original. Could easily be a '73/4 shop Holdsworth that's been back to the shop for a respray. A Strada like you say, except that it maybe started out as a Holdsworth Strada. Those ain't Precisa forks. You need to strip all the components off the frame, hopefully nothing is stuck- then you can make sure that what you've got framewise is structurally sound.

Will strip down and clean and refresh parts. Will have it sand blasted, zinc oxide coated and then painted. I assume it should be enamel paint. Looks like lugs have been depicted in white.

You might want to clean up the existing paint before making a final decision on whether it needs a respray? Difficult to tell from photos. Could just be dirty from thirty years of storage.
Otherwise, don't let anyone blast it unless they understand and are familiar with old lightweight bicycles and the tubing they are built from.
If the seatpost came out that easy, that's a good omen. You might need to do no more than disassemble each component in turn, clean the parts, regrease and reassemble. Maybe all you'll need to replace are the soft bits.. tyres and bar tape and such...

Any idea which brand the headset is? No manufacturers name. Only a lockring on top. Two drilled holes on bottom part to “lock” headset for removal.
Also, fitted with AVA sprint rims ... what would be a quality clincher alternative for period rebuild?
If headset were replaced, which model would be the suitable period Campag alternative, or where might I get a vintage dura ace?
