Rohloff SLT 99

Just want to let you all know that I'm still using my Rohloff SLT 99 chain after much abuse and it has now passed all the others in terms of performance. They really are amazing chains. It has lasted 2 years with regular soaking and cleaning, and still looks like new.
The only chain, I haven't had a problem with. I've snapped a few Shimano ones, Sedis pro were ok but vanished, Sachs (SRAM) snap and get stiff links, plus they wear out fast.
Rohloff really are worth the extra coins! I've decided that I'll only be using these chains on all my bikes from now.

You could have done the decent thing and posted this 2 hours ago couldn't you? Have just shelled out on a sram chain! How much do the Rohloff ones cost then?

Varies a bit, but think they're roughly £30. I used to race on them faultlessly in the late 80's and early 90's. Don't know why I stopped using them really.

Take the SRAM back. You are entitled to as your statutory rights etc.
