had a beers and bikes session on a beauty of a fall day yesterday. sampling a couple local
fresh hop ales i picked up this past week.
as i mentioned earlier in this thread there would be a few changes happening to this one.
not necessarily improvements to this build, but ones for the overall good of my collection.
the accu trac fork, in my opinion, is a bit new for this filet brazed frame and could be utilized
better elsewhere, hence the change. the fork on it now is a koski duratrac, a decent fork in
it's own right. then a couple ti bits to make it more my own. the saddle on it, although comfortable,
looked a bit fuddy duddy. this avocet is more to my liking.
yes i know the stack of shims at the headset isn't the nicest looking but i didn't want to cut down
the steerer. actually puts me up a bit higher which saves my back a little.
overall i am happy with how it is now.
