ROCKY-MOUNTAIN-TI-BOLT

I didn't know they were made in the USA.

Unfortunately too big for me, otherwise I'd be right in there with my 1,599€ of course.

These are lovely and ride really nicely.

However, £1200+/- for a 15yr old frame. No thanks. Can get a very nice new ti for that.
Nostalgia needs to be strong for this one..

That's not a very retro thing to say! You'll be telling us that disc brakes are better than cantis next. Or carbon fibre is better than ti?

andys secret modern bike love, truth is out

.. tho riding SSMM on a yeti ASR was probs an indication ;)

hey! unfair!

I had two bikes lined up for riding at MM, but given the shite conditions, couldn't bring myself to trash them in the somme. After 2 mins, didn't matter what you were riding cos they were covered in cack.

Have decided to build the Fat with some functional XT in case (when?) it goes to mud again this year. :)

Yeah, another nice Sandvik product. They really did rule back then. Not that there were many options.
Quite happy to splash some cash on something nice, and I would love this, but I have limits!

It's also saying that a titanium 'Rocky Mountain' built by TST is worth more than twice as much as a titanium 'Kona' built by TST, no doubt using exactly the same tubes in a fractionally different arrangement, which all seems a bit silly to me.

Mind you, a Rocky Mountain does have rarity value compared to a Kona, doesn't it? Perhaps that explains it.
