Rocky mountain info needed *stratos*

Re:

I'll see about powdercoating it.

I'm with yeti_bomb, I rather like it how it is. May be clean off the old scruffy decals and leave it un-decaled (is that a word?).

Anything else...

Seatpost size would be useful. and how it was binded, a quick release or a nut and bolt thing?

Centre to top makes it 17" or there abouts. The top tube is quite long at 22 and a quarter. the current state is powdery oxide and bubbled paint, kinda solid though. I'll see about powdercoating it. Too small for me to ride comfortably but it's just a nice thing to have :)

cheers fluff.
It should be 21.75" effective top tube for a 17" stratos frame.

22.25 actual would make it about 22.75 like the 18.5"
You are measuring axle to the very end of the tube top and not some funny Marin thing ;-)

1.5" is about that measurement difference.

Re:

Cheers for the info mate.

I reckon i will be popping it up for sale tomorrow, so i will offer a tape measure against the metal and let folk read the tape as they know how.

68mm shell, a 122mm came out. 1.1/8" tube 26" forks. front mech 31.8.tp.
The alu feels different to marins and other such frames. The texture is almost like the reflex, as in TWX, alx99 sort of bike. thicker and rolled into shape.

cheers.
