I just built one of these single crown DHO's recently, stanchion size is the same, bottom bolt that attaches to dampening rod is larger on DHO, So I removed the internals from the DHO and put them inside the stanchions of the DH(c clip holds it in.) Messed around with different springs/elastomers till the top cap went on nicely. Just a Quick reply, If you want any more info let me know

I built a set of these bitd from a DHO and SC Judy DH, IIRC the damper in the DHO was too long to run in the DH legs so it was basically a DH with the lower Bolt thru legs. It was a long time ago though!
