Dirt Disciple
Hi all,
I really need to tap into the collective black magic here!
I recently got hold of a 1999 Gary Fisher Aquila frameset for a very nice price off the bay.
It came with a set of RockShox Jett T2 forks, (63mm or 75mm?) which I had in mind to service and continue using, but after closer inspection, the stanchions were completely shot......
Now I'm not sure if it's worth trying to find a decent pair of stanchions at all, probably not.
Now, I also have a set of stripped Marzocchi Bomber Flylight Z4s, that just need new bushings and dirt seals. Although these are a 100mm fork, I seem to have the notion that it's possible to take these down to 80mm. Am I right, or did I just imagine that?
If not, what's involved?
