Advice needed! I have a Rockhopper Comp from approximately 1989-91 - it is sky blue with pink lettering, if that helps identify its age....
I have owned it from new and although it has withstood all manner of beatings it is in essentially good nick - frame has no bends or cracks or anything, and it has its original Deore (LX i think, or DX) gears; the only thing that has been replaced is a wheel, a taller seat-post and handlebars (to cope with my height on a small bike - frame is 15.5 I think).
I have long stopped riding it and it is in need of a lot of love but in the right hands could become a lovely bike again!
So. What year is it? Is anyone likely to be interested in this bike? And does it have enough value to be worth trying to sell in this way? My local bike shop have offered scrap/parts value only, which just seems a bit sad....
I'd appreciate any advice!
