Rockhopper Frame Age ?

I have aquired a Specialized Rockhopper frame which is DB Chromoly Steel, Metalic light purple in colour with yellow Decals, Rockhopper is written in curvy style, Specialized in angular, it has a rear brake cable tunnel around the seat tube below the clamp and rack brazeons and near vertical dropouts.

Can anyone give an educated guess as to age ?

Yes thats the one, sitting under my desk at work as I type this.

Just measured it as 18" frame, 22" top tube, 74mm bottom bracket shell, 27mm diameter seatpost I think, 135mm OLN.

I'm thinking early to mid 1990's.

More accurate dating appreciated.

I've got one of those, when it was new it had a suntour expert 24 speed groupset.
