Rock Shox SID 1998 in blue

Can you post some more pictures? I have Judy forks that have really bad paint flacking. I get paid later today and may well be interested.

Thanks.

I just put mine on a scale. It's 1193g - That's LIGHT!

They're light because they're not made of much material and why they flex like ****.

I reckon my 1999 Sids had more forward and backward flex when braking than actual travel. Definitely designed for 7 stone when wet euro whipper snappers infested with gay bum aids.

Suspension has improved loads since then thankfully, but they do look nice for older 'retro' builds.

SX-R's flex quite a bit too here, 160/160 discs and a 70kg rider.

My wife is using this model of RS Sid too. Everyone above, let's say 65Kg, should stay away of this one. Even with a light rider it flexes a lot.

Hey guys let's not get carried away... I'm 72kg and I didn't have a single problem (I didn't use them for terrain though-just for the retro build) But I hade these SID's in the past and never had any problems. I can say these are bulletproof and iconic. 8)
