Rock Shox question

I just got an old Rock Shox Judy off of the evil bay which unfortunately has a 1 1/8" threaded steerer, rather than a 1" per the description. I recently found an old Mag 20 for parts with a 1" threaded steerer. My question is, could I use the crown from the Mag 20 on the Judy so the steerer will fit my headtube?

IIRC the Mag forks gain offset by angling the fork legs forward, Judy has the offset cast in at the drop out. And i'm pretty sure Mag => Judy also increased stanchion diameter slightly, and the C to C distance.

Depends what's perished. Oil mainly, air seals often, lastly the main oil seal.
Possibly a few orings after that may as well just buy another working fork.
