Rock Shox Indy xc vs Quadra

there the ones.

not sure about anything about either fork just wanted some retro rockshox with a 1" steerer :D

Steerer needs to be long enough though, not just the right diameter.

@ 154, I assume a threaded headset ? It doesn't actually say. then headtube (bit of the frame, excluding any headset part will need to be ~115 or less with some chopping down.

I ran Quadra 10s back in the day. In my opinion the Indy series was a massive improvement, mostly because the Indy's featured proper sealing, whereas the Quardas I had relied entirely on the boots to keep the elements out. I recall one long wet ride which rendered my newly serviced Quarda pretty much rigid! Later on I had a RS Jett XC (pretty much a rebranded Indy XC). This fork stayed smooth and functional for years without any attention whatsoever. (In fact, I think its still in service on a friend's bike somewhere...)

most of that makes sense. I am new to this retro scene and just getting my head around it. I normally build cars so just starting to understand bikes.
my frame has not arrived yet so I am unsure of the headtube length and unsure if its a threaded headset or not. Time will tell I guess but i am sure it will all come together in the end ok :D
