This ones only up the road from me but not sure I really like it !!!
If it were £50 I guess !!
Some hopes Derek! I would have taken it on if it had been a bargain because it's even closer to me, but that was quite a decent auction in the end and I think £165 wouldn't leave me much left to fund my cups of tea and toast with. I valued the bits at £225 and my formula says if you don't want it for yourself don't bid more than 50%.

It looked as though the owner was quite correct that it's a c1994 pre-Merlin Cycles but nevertheless Taiwan-built Rock Lobster. The fork is a short 1992 Project 2 which may or may not be ideally suited to it, but is certainly worth a bit to several people on here. And the Mavic 117 wheels looked to have disc hubs, so must have a value, and there's always a buyer for XT thumbies.

You wouldn't seriously want to sell your Hammer and buy that though, would you?

That's a good formula.

I don't think he should sell the hammer or the bonty :D

Not a buyer (unless I want it for myself), more of a giver awayer on the other side, but I would enjoy reading a thread with your formulas, rules of thumb on how you determine value in ebay bids. I just follow passion.
