Rock Lobster Ti Frame - Original or Merlin Version?

Does anyone know how I can tell if my Lock Lobster ti frame is original USA made or Merlin Taiwan made?

It came with some high quality parts e.g titanium, Chris King, etc.

If it was a Merlin Taiwan frame I would have expected it to be made up more cheaply.

One this is for certain, its 100% Rock Lobster either way.

I don't think Mr Sadoff made any ti RLs. Could be wrong though.
It's ti though, so of course it's going to be blinged up!

I was told mine was built 2002 so it fits in with the comments. Mine weights 1.356kg on the post scales at work (just under 3lb). Seems a little bit lighter but then I suppose mine is only a 17" model.
