Rock Lobster (not a real one) XT bits, Boston (UK)

I brought this one. Always fancied a Rock Lobster project and my budget can't quite stretch to a 'real one' so thought I'd put in an offer on this one. Offer was accepted so I'm collecting it tonight. Frame and forks are probably worth what I paid for it so can't complain. Looks like it's in desperate need of a make-over mind you!!

Re:

Yep. It's got to be worth £300 in parts of have thought. Really fancy doing this up for myself though. Just not sure on the size. I have always ridden smaller bikes but at 6ft this one may be too small. Saying that my old Marin Eldridge Grade was a 17.5 inch and that was perfect. I only have a 30" inside leg so it may be alright. If not I might see if the wife fancies it!

Well done on that. A heck of a price 8)
That 'pick up only' always produces good results for us :D , that and it was presented really badly.

Yeah, do it up.

Re:

Yep. Got to drive 135 miles to pick it up but it's only £25 worth of diesel for the round trip so worth the cost. It's not the nicest looking Rock Lobster I've seen either. They've some how managed to make it look like a £99 shopping bike!!

Done a bit of work to this since I bought it. It looks a bit more like a mountain bike now! It's little on the small side but love the way it rides so could be a keeper. Feels pretty light but not had it on the scales yet.
