Hi i have just purchased this Rock Lobster expert for £20 and i am wondering what year it was made. The serial number is GF5600440 which is whown in the picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully someone else could comment how to decode the serial number, but your frame has no cantilever cable stop any longer, that means roughly 1997 and younger, and if equipped originally with the Lx 570 (blue Lx) group as on the pictures its 1999-2004.
