He has now probably realised the value/price of the forks! I mentioned before he sells a lot of stuff, so a quick Google and he'll soon realise the potential value of what he's trying to sell, plus he'll be in no rush to sell as he must have some level of storage/space based on his listings

Sooo.. I ended up getting this for what I think is a good price. It has some rust, but it is very superficial and will clean up well. Frame and Bonty Forks, plus a Mavic 211 front wheel

I drove over to Peckham to get it this morning. Guy was genuine. It was his old bike, he had previously advertised it on FB, got a lot of interest and contact about the forks (which is perhaps why he put the price up?) Then nothing.

It was a little birthday present to myself

Played the long game Phill and won! Amazing. Happy birthday to you and can't think of anything better than an old bike/bike parts for a birthday present and by buying them yourself you get what you want!!!

Yes, the shed is rammed with projects... I need to get around to starting some of them at some point
