What the hell''s going on with that head tube!

Can't readily recall one extend so far above the top tube - it's like Mr Roberts forgot to chop an inch and a half off...!

true the silver collars are called s & s fittings..normally fitted either when new or horrendously exspensive later

I've used these, it allows the bike to be literally folded in half and the only reason people fit these is when they go on incredibly long tours that might need the bike to be on a plane or train and either due to size restrictions or convenience..the s & s couplings are made

I would never pay extra for them to be fitted new but if they do not cost extra on a second hand bike..very handy for touring big rides
