Stack height also something to consider. The G Master didn’t fit on my Overburys as it was too tall

Well all went well, I don’t have a headset press, so lump of wood and a hammer for me. Lucky never had an issue (so far - ha ha)

The top washer has a tab on it and won’t fit on easily, so have had a scrummage in the odds and sods box and found something to use instead

Cleaned it up and flashed it over with some black rattle can quickly

Next is stem choice.

I have the trek m system this came with - believed to be an original option, a couple of black cro mo jobbies, a nice titanium one that came off my Klein Pinnacle when I fitted it with a MC1, or a NOS flexstem

Love that headset, looks like a quality item. Personally I would actually go with the flex stem as well, it suits the frame and decals really well in my opinion.

Must crack on and build some more myself...
