Went for a decent price in the end, although down a fair bit on what they were fetching 12 months ago... I went out on a ride to avoid being tempted to bid on it Hopefully someone on here got it !

Yes, it's interesting. I think there is something in the fact that you want it more if someone else values it, and even more if someone else might prevent you from getting it .
