What an improvement from pg1

Not sure on the Syncros stem but everything else ticks the boxes for me !
I liked the x-lite stem I previously used but was 1 1/8 so needed a shim, and i needed more rise. I kinda agree about the syncros but also liked it because of the rise and the colour was more unusual to me than the standard black one. That said maybe a black syncros would match more?

Fair enough I’m not gonna flame yah for building something you can actually ride rather than creating a wall hanger.

If you went with a black stem you’d end up needing a black seat post otherwise you’ll upset the balance in each corner

Rear stays Black
Fork Black
Stem Black
Seatpost .... silver ( will look awkward)

So keep as is and ride it / enjoy it “Simples”

Ride it, and tweek it, until l it feels part of you..., its a Journey and an adventure all in one... 8)

Nice. Have you still got it?

Not the one pictured, it now resides with Andrew up north, mine is hung up waiting for a period 753 fork to turn up with the right size steerer tube.

The length of time ive been waiting i massively regret selling the one pictured... hand in glove still comes to mind...

Re:

Day off from work, and my backs bad (typical). Still got out in the fresh air.

Looking good mate, Plym Bridge...?
Yes mate. You local?

At 16 years old, a club was started called the YOGIS, two fellas called Steve and Ian, and we all met every wed nite and sunday morning at the second car park, and from there the adventures would begin..., The club is still going and now has 100s of members and Steve and Ian still head up the rides sometimes. I still have the same bike today i had back then, Kona Explosif, Sadly my legs arent quite the same...
