Well done Mate........... 8)

Thanks for that and your Counsel.

This fills the gap between the '84 lugged ATB for Rob at 'On your bike' (Renegade) and the Dogs.

The Renegade appears agricultural when compared to the panache of the XK2.
I guess I am done now on acquisitions, this was a missing link.

Bontrager, Dekerf and Roberts, don't you just love 'em?

Re:

Re:

Bike arrived
1/2 hour assembly, no adjustment, yet.
Quick 5k, first impressions:

Fabulous livery, dated, continental, immaculate, not just been cleaned.
Rides as modern 17" sizing, narrow width on front end though.
Very slick gear changing, silent (almost), fast and positive.
Rolling resistance similar to Bontrager Race Lite, almost zero.
Braking, zero free play, very positive, feeling of pressure not force.
Strangely the wheels offer smooth, silent running after 25 years.
The seller described the wheels as 'Flywheels', absolutely spot on. they do convey the same feel as some Chris Kings built by KB, I got via Sinnerman to go on his OR. Flywheel is about right, they are heavy but very, very slick.

First impressions, I hope someone is interested.
Great bike, a snip at price.
Too good to need a curator, it must be ridden.

Fantastic job by Chas and the lads!
