Tyres,

I'm new to all of this road riding stuff, can't really compare a Raleigh milk cup in 87 to this.
I want to know what psi people are using, is there a huge difference between pressures like with mtbs :?:
I have put mine at 115 psi and that seems ok, does this sound about right :?

Sounds spot on to me. Any more than that and you may need to check the rim and tire rating.

Some may say that 110 psi is the amount to give you the best ride / speed

So 115 will be fine

I've done 160 once and felt I would rattle fillings out !

Thanks guys I was quite surprised by how comfy it was, i was expecting a really harsh ride. Mind you i've only done 27 miles so far Off out again tomorrow so might do more.

I run between 110 and 120psi depending on tyres,Michelin Pro3's max is 110 for example. They are suprisingly comfortable,I found higher pressures didn't get much worse comfort wise but braking became a little 'sketchy' :shock:
