hmmm; is the seller sure about that frame being an Ultra or even a Ritchey? Something doesn't look right to me, and I'm not referring to the paint job.

It is the paint job that was on the bike when I bought it.
I believe that the red & black base paint job is original.
I don't know if the yellow & black highlites/stripes was done by Ritchey (as you can see from the pictures, the decals are on top of the stripes). The person I bought the bike from was from California, and was in the bike industry.

do a search for "Ritchey Ultra" in google images, and my issue will be easily evident. Basically, the seat cluster jumps out at me, as perhaps not being an Ultra or Ritchey. But I'm no expert, and would need to look at examples from each year the Ultra was available, as perhaps I'm thinking of older Ultras.

The dropouts and rack mounts caught my eye as well. Maybe an older Trek?

No fastback seat stays, Likely not. Only the seat post, rims and fork appear to possibly be Ritchey. Maybe the cable hanger, brake levers and stem too.
