sorry but a ti bolt smacks its arse all over for a good old british kicking and going home to mother in a cardboard box style taste ......dekrfs are much nicer (the dark red paint job version)...i couldnt ever pay 3 gees for that.i agree its pretty but just not my thing.

Wondering what that non-Hyperglide cassette is...? Looks a bit like Uniglide cog teeth, but I don't think they were ever made in 7-speed.

Could well be a Uniglide. They're not that common in wider ratios for 7-speed, but you do see them from time to time. Don't forget that the road groups had gone 7-speed (and even 8 for Dura Ace) before Uniglide was phased out.

I'm the guy who won the P-22 last night on Ebay. Pretty sweet price for such a nice piece of history! I'm going to buy an aluminum Softride stem to go with it (preferably with the Offspring hydraulic damper if I can find one and if they made one with a quill). And yes, I'm going to train and probably do a few races on that bike next summer. Been dreaming of owning a Ritchey since... 1992. Ok, it's not the P-20 WCS, but it's still a great ride nonetheless. It's going to replace my 2006 Norco EXC 1.0.

Nice one! You'll love it. These are deceptively quick bikes. You'll be mooching along, revelling in the magic carpet ride, but actually going a lot faster than you realised. Go with the flow!

This bike will be perfectly appropriate for my type of riding here. 80% pavement/gravel, 20% hardpack/sandy trails, mostly flat, nothing technical. I might do some local races for fun and the trails here are twisty singletracks, but again, nothing too rough or technical. Man, it's going to be a long winter waiting for that first ride... Hopefully I'll be able to start riding again mid-March like I did this year.
