ripped out a thread on a pivot bolt on a frame of mine
bolt goes through a cartridge bearing and then bolts together the chain stay and seatstay pivot/junction
(one on either side)
this is disc side, the previous fix for the same problem on another frame was to put in a nut and bolt which sufficed
that was on drive side though, the broke one now is on disc side so a nut and bolt would foul a larger rotor (or any rotor possibly, havent checked)(small rotor is not an otpion )
so, where do i stand, can i retap it? how does that work exactly?
or tap it bigger?
or another fix?
