The mentality of the jobsworth morons at some of these places makes me sick too. At our one they hover around like scavengers as soon as you arrive so they can snaffle anything they can make a few quid on. The whole recycling thing is just a council PR scam.

Turn up with some lead or copper

If you throw it in the skip, it won't hit the bottom i can promise you.

Tbf once the item is there in the skip, it now belongs to the waste contractor so removing it would be theft and instant dismissal.

That's why it won't hit the bottom.
