To cope with seeing this sad sight, I am telling myself it had a list of issues such as, a stuck solid seat post, a crack somewhere in the frame, stuck sti shifters, beyond saving smoke and darts, buckled wheels, rims paper thin on the brake surfaces, stuck solid bearings, bent handlebar, torn saddle, punctured tubes, heavily worn groupset, etc, etc. Starting to feel better already!

The crack will be in the headtube, where corrosion has expanded the headset assembly.

Of course you can't take the bike out if container but if you put it over there you can buy it it's suppose to be a recycle centre plus all the shit we waste it's just wrong

The forks are RST MOZO Pro USA version I believe.

I had something similar at my local recycling centre. In the metal skip it had a nice GT and going by the decals on the frames I could see a couple of Bontrager mountain bikes. I was gutted that I couldn't take them out.
